Hutch Series 10 Slider
Using our H-9801 slider as a proven benchmark, the Hutch Series 10 Slider was developed as a lighter-weight, extremely durable suspension/subframe for the dry van and refrigerated trailer market. Using knowledge from decades of slider production and customer feedback, along with state-of-the-art FEA and controlled benchmark testing in our Engineering Research Laboratory, our new slider combines new design concepts with lighter materials and our advanced welding capabilities. Production of the Series 10 is also maintained through the controls of our UL-registered ISO 9001:2008 quality system.
The Series 10 Slider has been developed for van/refrigerated trailers requiring a 48” nominal frame width and 49” axle centers. The slider utilizes an innovative frame structure with redesigned hangers that still accommodate the most popular Hutchens steel leaf springs and suspension options. The Series 10 works with all current Hutchens van slider body rails and can be used in place of the H9801 spring slider. The deeper frame of the Series 10 combined with the shorter hybrid hangers produces the same mounting height as the H9801.
