Effective with shipments on or after July 1, 2009, Hutchens Industries, Inc. will reduce its prices for Sliders and Four Spring Suspensions by 6.5%. Likewise, the prices for 900 Series 'Single Point' suspensions will be reduced by 4%. Please contact your Customer Service representative, Regional Manager or this office for more specifics.

Dear Customer,

Our 2009 Price Schedules are now posted on our website www.hutchensindustries.com and are available for downloading at your convenience. If you have problems accessing the file, by all means call Louis King or your Hutchens Customer Service Representative, (800 654 8824) and they'll be happy to help. These prices will be effective January 1, 2009 and will remain firm through June 30, 2009, barring the unforeseen.

As you know, our current prices are composed of our 2007 prices plus one or more surcharges which were added in mid 2008. That price containing the surcharge is now our 2009 price. However, in the case of Sliders, 9700/9600 Suspensions and Aftermarket Parts; we have been able to reduce the surcharged price by about 3%.

As we do every year, we have tried to give you as long a look at stable pricing as we can muster. Nevertheless, the recent volatility of the items that make up our principle costs is such that we find it impossible to forecast their movement with any real accuracy. We very much appreciate your loyalty, patience and understanding as we work together through these troubled times.

Finally, we wish you a joyous Holiday Season and a New Year filled with a quick return to comfortable levels of business.
